It's Sachin's Match ........It was supposed to ...be His world cup & being senior most he should have waited until right moment comes.
Furthermore it was 250 runs to get....
Lankans got it by running between wickets.
Why he went for big booming drive ....Nobody knows..
May be his ego...
Sachin is responsible ...Look what we have got here...
We have solid facts for that.
SL has upper hand...for future games..
Its all the way for Asian Teams
No more white people ruling the Cricket World
But see how they became top of the world right now...
Though they beat india They still had to give their best ever performance..
When Robin Uthappa and Sourav Ganguly walked in, India had a target of just 255 runs, on a wicket which had dried and gone flatter. But nobody showed the determination to stay on, except Dravid. It was his flurry of fours off Malinga in one over that had raised the hopes of Indian fans just for a while.
Anybody can be so sure that ,the turning point was Sachin’s getting out to Fernando, through the gate for a duck. That was a vital blow. India could not recover. The panic button was pressed. Whatever little chances India had went up in flames when Yuvraj was run out foolishly.

It is really worth analysing the difference between the two teams from the sub-continent. India’s strength was batting and given the proper conditions, their medium pacers and the spinners could be devastating. If not, their shoulders start drooping and the bowling goes haywire with all kind of experimentations. It could happen to the batting too.

Exactly opposite are Sri Lanka, except that their batting is as good if not better. We were the big brothers when they started. Now they are the elders. What an irony. They are better fielders for sure, and the bowlers bowl to the field under any circumstances unless it’s a completely off day for them.

Muralitharan is just outstanding. And most importantly, they play as a team and not as individuals. And that’s the thin line that differentiated the two teams. We saw absolutely no regional biases, despite all kinds of problems in their small country.
But they now have to beat only 3 teams to advance easyly to much awaited semi finals.
Long live cricket !!!!!!!

The problem is much deeper than we imagine. The media hype, the hired writers, the sponsors, the politicians all combine to give an 'image' to some partcular players. If any of you watched the World Cup 2003. did any of you see John Davison's innings? They were wonderful, but since he was not 'sponsored' and without any 'image' no one talks of him. I request you, dear ones, who write all these questions and answers, to see how many Indian batsmen have fared well on 'turning' or 'juicy' tracks, and you will find the answer.

Today's cricketers are 'hired' by sponsors, who are forced to praise their players to the skies even if they perform abysmally. As regards class, I saw an extraordinay class in Viv Richards. He however, had one glaring fault-of arrogance. Unlike Sachin who makes runs mostly from loose deliveries, Viv used to make a point to thrash the most predominant bowler and spoil his line and length.

The best innings(either Test or ODI) I have seen being played on a turning track, was that of Aravinda in the 1996 World Cup. Everything was there, grace, timing, elegance, and of course supreme confidence. Ask Kumble, who was then in his prime, how his best deliveries were artistically and classically dispatched to the boundary, with almost imperious disdain.

However you may praise Dhoni, he still scores heavily only on flat tracks. I think the amount of money he has earned in a very short span has gone to his head.

As for Sachin, his ttime is over. If he shall still be greedy for money, he will definitely be shown the exit door with disrespect.

Sachin, Ganguly and Yuvaraj.
And Sachin's body language showed he was not feeling guilty or ashamed of India's poor performance. His body language showed he did with intention and his dismissal was not an accident.
Any body language expert will tell the same.
Poor Dravid, he is not to be blamed for the mistake of the entire team.
India lost because we did not have co-operation. One player is jealous of the others growth.
You should not forget that Ganguly would not like Indian team winning under the leadership of Dravid.
Ultimately, the reason for the poor performance in the world cup is the mis-understanding between Chappell and Ganguly and thus the net result.

Sachin has been in the team for over 15 years. Dhoni, despite his success, is still a new kid on the block. So it is only obvious people would expect more from Sachin. he should have played a very prominent role .

Sachin of course, as he is the most experienced batsman in the Indian Team and holder of many records. He is considered to be a class batsman and having sound technique as compared to Dhoni.
