Me? I don't know.
I love music. Not just the music from the radio and CDs, but the music from nature. The wind in the trees, the song of the bird, and the happy sound of wind chimes being moved by a breeze.
But if I were to become deaf and unable to hear it, I doubt I would die.
Now, let's dig deeper. Music is powerful.
I've heard of people who are not able to hear being able to dance because they can feel the rhythm and beat of music. I don't know, maybe even though they can't hear in the same way as those without this disability, maybe they can feel it or hear it in their heads in a way we can't understand.
So, here is what I think:
I don't think we will ever be forced to live without music, because it exists in creation. As long as the world is here, music will be here.
I think music is a beautiful thing that adds immensely to the joy of living.
But, if by some horrible force it were taken from us. I think we would continue to exist. But the world would just not be the same.

I completely agree. Without music I would probably die. If you look at it, music is with us from the day we are born and it never leaves us. It can influence your mood, if you let it and can consume you (not in a bad sense). I don't understand people who don't like music (I've met a couple of ppl like that) and it just makes me sad. I used to dance (jazz ballet) and I remember that I was really happy during that time. Being one with the music made me fell free and like I could do anything I wanted.
Bottom line...I love music and I don't think I could live without it!

No.
Music is universal. It lives in all of us & every day that we live. Our hearts beat with a distinctive rhythm and which none are truly alike. Without music… Life would be not. And the rhythmic beat of all we are would surly stop to be. Old Dawg 03.27.07

Great question. I don't think we could live without music. If we couldn't listen to it, we would just try to create some ourselves. It is one of the greatest forms of creativity someone can have. I would probably try to make my own instruments if I couldn't listen to it, but man if I had to go without for good. That would be very very difficult.
