Are u going back to America?Tell me?Why?
The answer is simple that while u are in plane think about the best moment u have in your life with your love , with your family or may be with anyone.
By that way you will get yourself(physical & emotional) involve into the matter and you will forget u are in plane.
If you are going back then bye bye, ALLAH HAFIZ.

I work on a cruise ship and as a crew member, I am asked this question all the time. My advise for avoiding motion sickness, take the anti-motion sickness pills and you will be fine. Don't wait until you feel sick, taken them a head of time.
For an airplane, I would take the pills after you've gotten through airport security, but before you board.
I learned the hard way that it is not beneficial to act brave, take the pills and you'll be fine.
Of course,if you have medical issues that would prevent you from taking medication, try ginger pills and the pressure point bans.

Have you tried Dramamine? That stuff works for me on planes. Don't bother with the non-drowsy formula though, its not nearly as good as the original.
I've seen this weird watch you can buy and supposedly sends electrical impulses to your brain that is supposed to curb the feelings of motion sickness. Never used it or knew anyone who has so I can't vouch for it.
I say try the dramamine if you haven't yet.

I took a motion sickness pill a half hour before takeoff -- chewable tablets. I don't know what it's called but it's in a blue and pink box and it helped a great deal, got it from Walmart. Sorry I couldn't be of greater help in the name of the tablets.

I do get motion sickness easily too. Try candy, listening to music, get a window seat, there's pills available in stores to help too. Do never- read a book if the vehicle is shaky.

Dramamine (spelling?) I took with me on a plane ride to go on a cruise and on the cruise. It helped a lot cuz you could literally feel the boat rocking the first night @ dinner.
