Other than XM radio, is there a conventional radio which can be programmed?

i'm sure there are tons of ways to do this but this seems easiest & cleanest, as well as free, to me.
on a windoze machine you can use the task scheduler to do it, and on a mac you can use ical. create playlist files like winamp's m3u, where in the playlist, instead of a song file (or hell, you could use song files..) it has an online station. save the playlist file anywhere. then open up the windows task manager or whatever they're calling it these days (you can do it in outlook too if you have to) to 'open file' & then just browse for the playlist file to open at a specific time.
on a mac, you can make ical open a file also. you can do it the same way. there are also applescripts you can find and download that are usually free that do all sorts of neat things. they're basically text files that automate processes within the operating system. they're really cool.

On DirecTV there is XM satelite radio available and you can program the tuner to change stations every 30 minutes.
