I have to do a paper for my archaeology class comparing, contrasting, and critiquing two sites. Should I just tell about one site and then tell about the other or should I do a comparison paragraph telling how theyre alike and then do a contrasting paragraph telling how theyre different?

Don't jump around going back and forth between the two in each paragraph. It will require too much stating what each one is for every evaluation.

Definitely point out the differences and similarities. Might help if you pick your fave at the end.

I think the latter will work better.
A comparison paragraph telling how they are alike and then one telling how they are different.

Also, I recoment going a graph or a diagram showing the differences and similarities. A visual is always good when doing an essay or paper for school.

Hope this helped, and hope all goes well!

i think u should do it the right way

examiners hate it when people talk about one site in one paragraph and then another paragraph on the other site.

i think comparing as one section and then contrasting as another section is the best choice here, i think

I'd want to see a chart detailing the areas you are studying and then show the factual differences of each site. Then explain the meaning or reason for differences in your text.
