Yes, you just need to get a good trio that has three shades of the same color or three complimenting colors. If you want them to be dark try the charcoal trio by maybelline.
And black eye liner and mascara.
First: Apply the lightest shade all over your eye from brow to lash. This is what makes you look awake, try a silver, white, or gold. They light shade under your your brow will catch the light and make your eyes glow, it makes you look stunning and wide awake!
Second: Apply the meduim shade to you lid only, a dark purple works best.
Third: Now the black. Apply the black in the creases and inside corner of your eyes. Tap eyes lightly with a tissue to blend.
Now apply a black liner thickly to your top and bottom lash lines. Finish with mascara and Viola!!! Hope I helped!!!

i agree with the white eyeliner - i do it and love it - but if you can put on a coat or two of mascara and curl your lashes - it makes a HUGE difference - and also if you use a dark liner on top and a lighter liner under your eyes, that will help too - but mascara and curling your lashes is the way to go

Here are some websites. I really love MAC makeup. Covergirl and Revlon are good enough for every day though. I always use Covergirls mascara in the pink bottle.

line your upper lid with dark (black, brown) eyeliner and let it extend and curve upwards on the outer rim of your eye. sort of like elizabeth taylor in cleopatra but not that thick or dramatic. then put a light sparkly eyeshadow on your eyelid, like a champagne colored one. then use a volumizing, lengthening mascara.

Use metallic eyeshadows!
My favorites are gold, silver, and bronze!
There is also a mix of a little color added to a metallic(like a blue tint to silver, a pink tint to gold!)
