I am happy to be alive - I lived through a what could have been a near death auto accident and sky diving. I have 4 wonderful grand daughters I am so happy to be part of their lives.
Balloons, snow and a single rose makes me smile.

And why shouldn't one be happy for being alive?
God created us for a purpose... you need to find that from your life, and trust me you'll be happy as well.
I believe that a smile can give others happiness-even momentarily. Isn't that enough? People around me say "i'm a smile freak. "
I read somewhere:
"Smile, you may mean a world to someone."
And, to prove it scientifically, it takes lesser amount of your facial muscles to smile as compared to a frown: so smile.

of course I'm glad to be alive, I've witnessed & endured things that most people only dreed but i've got over it and i believe it has made me the person i am today a strong independant women who has high ambitions in life and is meeting them.
what makes me smile- most things do especially
my family
my friends
my cats
when i get an A on my assingments
knowing that i'm going to uni in sept
and when i hear children shout Miss Gibson when they see me and they are smiling at the same time as they are able to remeber how much fun we had and all my time and effort i put in to to help teach them and help them develop and how much they taught me at the same time while i was on placement.

Of course i'm happy to be alive. Its the people in my life that make me most happy (family & boyfriend mainly). Without them i'd probably be gone well mental by now

Yes i am, i pass thru near death experience few years ago and feeling to be alive and happy is much stronger from this time.
And also knowing that process of dieing is just an invertarization of our worse things what we do in life.

Yes, I'm happy to be alive. My goofy boxers make me smile when they play, chase squirrels, drop their balls down the stairs, or sleep with their chins on each other's backs.

when people i know get hurt, not too bad but enough for them to go "oowwwww". thats funny. but then when i get hurt that turns my smile upside down. also i had cheesecake the other day and that made me smile but i went to buy another one and they were gone so that didn't make me smile. then i thought i had got out of doing my work so i was happy but then i was told i had to do it and that made me sad.
