Being a Male Model?

How do I go about seeing if I could be a male model? contact a photographer? do they send out my porfolio? any advice is good, thanks in advance.

im not male nor have i ever been a model but ive been around them long enough.
picture portfolio , grab an agent (modelling agency) -sign up for that, look for model friends preferably myspace or facebook or the like.

you must be at least 6ft

and 40 chest
