I grew up in chicago, and I love pure pinay girls, but im weary about if I randomly go up and chat with a cute bebot in english and she can barley speak english.. do you think she will say.. that she has used up all her english. Do you think that she will ano... hate me .. think im pasaway?? think im gago?? Arte ko?

If you're a Filipino and you can't speak Tagalog fluently, it's okay. But try to instill some tagalog words when you're talking to a Filipina girl. I would suggest that you ask some of your friends in the Philippines or relatives to help you and introduce you with Filipinas they know instead of going out in malls and trying to pick up some random girls.

You never know whom you could meet there. At least, let's give some respect to our Filipina women in the Philippines. I think the reason a lot of young girls in the Philippines are resorting to prostitution because of men from abroad coming to the Philippines just for that. "If there's no demand, there will be no supply".

But don't worry about talking in English with Filipinos, even sometimes people don't speak fluent english, still they could understand you well.

You can always try and walk up to a lady and start a friendly conversation with her. But before you proceed to the flirting stuff, make sure to at least be certain the lady has no boyfriend or isn't married yet. Else, that would put you in a bad light among the Pinays, and especially among the Pinoys.

Yes, very maarte. Pinoy born in the US of A?

Why do you assume that those girls in the mall cannot speak English? Try talking to the streetkids and they will answer you even in broken English, but perhaps even better than your mastery of your own language. And those ladies in the mall wouldn't know how to speak English? Come on. That only shows you haven't been here at all.

Not that many Filipinas, especially when they are here back home would just welcome your intrusion from nowhere asking them pointless or pa-cute questions. More so, if questions come from a guy seemingly too full of himself.

I think you should be very cautious. Do you know who Daniel Smith is?
The mall is not anything like Olongapo city in the 80's or Angeles city. You could be in for a rude awakening if you approach the filipina in the mall as if there bar girls.

I don't know you so I can't really say too much. I am just going by what I am reading.

High percentage of educated Filipinas are still conservative. You have to work it out the hard way to a Pinay's heart.

However, if you get a prostitute or easy to get girls then it will just be fine with them.

Remember a there is only approximately 3-4/100 easy to get girls ! The big% is still CONSERVATIVE !

I think...

girls you find in malls would be busy shopping or just hanging out...if they were there to be picked up, these types would be the ones who would run out of vocabulary...

and you have to be careful, there are cross-dressers who dress up like hot and would pass for an innocent colegiala...

hey, don't be too casual and friendly, it's a usual turn off...you know you grew up in a different environment and culture, filipina ladies deserve due respect...don't you think? ;-)

i don't think communication would be a problem. we're good in speaking english the only thing you have to worry about is if she will speak to you. don't assume that all girls would look at you and think that you're good for them. girls have different views on things.

Come on now. Don't you know that Phils. is the 3rd largest English speaking country next to US & UK? Eventhough not all Filipinos know how to speak fluently in English & some might sound a bit funny because of their accent.. just put in your mind that they know what you are talking about. Just try to be polite, speak slowly & don't use slang english and please don't laugh if they are struggling to communicate to you or they will kick your grits. Just kidding. They will hate you if you're trying to be "MAYABANG & PRESKO" If you don't know what it means then it is for you to find out. Good luck. (--,)
