when i first started using bare minerals i broke out horribly. at first i thought it was the foundation, but it turns out that it was the kabuki brush that was causing it. once i started using the flawless application brush, ive never had a breakout. are you cleaning your brushes regularly? that might be the cause of it.

I've used Bare Minerals for about two years with no break -outs. Are you using a tooth whitening system or toothpaste? That can cause break-outs.

Its not the makeup...you need to wash your powder brush with a makeup brush cleanser or just some antibacterial hand soap to clean it and then let it air dry.
