i posted a question a minute ago and some very snotty lady answered without knowing all the facts! i am on benefits and have had to apply for these as my husband has just walked out on me and my son,he was the one who worked and the credit was only in my name as he didnt have very good ratings and then i had all the bills put in my name to make payment easier for me when he was working! i should not have to disclose all this but trish or whoever you are,i think you are very rude and ignorant to guess a situation and then slag me off for it! once my husband left i had to claim benefits until i get retrained so i can be employed with a decent wage!(i had to leave my job too)!you disgust me when i was only seeking help at a very upsetting time....

i may not be much help, but i sympathize with your situation. i never heard of a grant to go bankrupt, but firdt you can talk to your debters and try to resolve it,
. if that dont work, there are people who will work with you and your debters to resolve this problem. maybe someone else will volunteer sume sources. . my theory, first i buy my groceries, then work on household bills and the rest will have to take their chances,. dont take me to heart on the last statement. that is only what i would do. but there IS help out there. good luck.

This must be a very worrying time for you, with the thought of bankruptcy hanging over your head. Ignore those who sneer, if interest rates keep on increasing a lot more people will be going bust.
I worked with a man who went bankrupt, and like you he couldn't afford to pay. He was given help from a charity. I'm sorry but I don't know it's name.
What I would do is speak to the courts that process bankruptcies and see if they can help. Good luck and don't worry about it, especially in the middle of the night.

I just wanted to say how sorry I am that someone has been so judgemental about you!! These people don't know any better and have never had to suffer or struggle as you are. I only hope that one day they too find themselves in a situation like yours. I can't find your original post so don't know if I could help or not, I know a bit about these sort of problems having worked in an Information and Advice centre for a lot of years. Plus from personal experience.
Take care and I hope it all works out for you.

I understand it's a stressful time, coming face to face with the consequences of being irresponsible with your money over the years, but I find it strange that you had to leave your job because of your debt (previous question), and I also find it strange, reading through your previous questions, to find you enquired about the best time of year to go to Disneyworld just two months ago - how the heck could you consider a really expensive holiday if things were so bad?
Maybe it's me, but your aggression against Trish seems a little unwarranted, and maybe this is a good time for you to wake up and smell the coffee.
I wish you luck, and advise you to get yourself into at least part-time work while you're being retrained - you don't have the luxury of being unemployed with a child to look after.

Court fees of £150 and a deposit of £325 are normally paid by someone petitioning for their own bankruptcy. Court fee can be waived when the debtor in on benefits and total income does not exceed £15,050. Also the fee can be waived if undue financial hardship can be proven. Fee wavier is by application via form ex160. See the link below.

I may disgust you, many don't like the truth..I'm sure it's a difficult time for you. However,i did read your previous questions before answering !! You are equally responsible for the debts as YOU allowed them..I'm not snotty, just truthful. I don't see why the hardworking and honest folk of this country should keep bailing out the OTHERS !!!! You don't have to like my opinion but i'm entitled to it....
