If it's 6 letters starting with a 2-letter and ends in R, it's "on a par". That's the closest I've got.

"Au pair"
The French term "au pair," means "on par" ie on equal terms.

The more familiar use of the term in UK/USA is because the young person (au pair) is supposed to live on an equal basis with a host family in a foreign country - not as a servant.

The closest that I can think of is the Latin pari passu which is commonly applied to different classes of shares that have equal status on (for example) winding up or dividend rights.
