Why do you have to choose? Join the Navy and keep in contact with her.

I think you have your answer honey.. Every post I've read that answers your question says 'Join the Navy' and you should.

If you and your girlfriend are meant to be together.. she will still be there for you when you come back to her..

If she can't wait for you to come back.. then she wasn't the right one for you..

If you join the Navy you will open up your life to a world of opportunities.. travel, adventure and learning..

You only have one life honey.. do what your heart desires.. if you don't you will regret it..

Who's to say that you and your girl will still be together this time next year anyway.. and if you let your deadline to join the Navy pass by and she falls out with you.. you've lost both options..

Good luck.. I know which route I would take.. and which route all the other people that answered your question would take too!!

bon voyagé..

Follow your heart. You don't want to have resentment towards her because you didn't join the Navy. If its meant to last, you will be together when you get back.
