If Elizabeth Edwards was open to attack, so is he, right? Or is it different because he's a Republican?

Note: I didn't attack him. I asked why Republicans weren't attacking him. I never attacked Elizabeth Edwards. But cons certainly have. They called it "PR for her husband." Lovely, Christian souls that they are, they are attacking her husband while she is dying of cancer. I'm sure THAT isn't stressful for her at this horrible time in her life.
You people make me sick.

Cons who attacks Edwards, such as Michael Savage, are plain wrong.
I'm not a big fan of Tony Snow but if any Dem attacks him they are just as wrong as Savage.

Neither person should be open to attack. I think Edwards should be more concerned and spend more time with his wife during this. But he made his choice and he will have to live with the results.
But if your viewpoint is that Edwards is now untouchable, then shouldn't Tony and Bush be untouchable.

We only know about Tony's cancer because of who he is. Mrs. Edwards held a press conference to tell the world about hers. I think issues like that should be a private matter that the family needs to deal with, and not be shared. I would not say a bad word to either of them, but there is a difference in the presentation.

The real issue with the Edwards is that her husband knowing she is dying decides to his the road champainging knowing she can't follow due to treatments!!! She needs him big time now and his champaign is NOT more important than she is. I'd never vote for someone who did this. Tony Snow is the one with cancer. Being Rep. or Dem. have nothing to do with cancer.

When Tony Snow makes a big deal about it then maybe it will be ok. I don't thank he is going to use his cancer like the Edwards did.

It isn't right to attack either. Shame on you! I hope Mr. Snow and Mrs. Edwards both get well. They both have loved ones and children.

Sorry, but I thought Edward's cancer was off limits, and therefore, Snow's cancer is off limits too.
You'll find no justification from me why it's ok to attack a cancer sufferer.

You're analogy sucks. John Edwards is running for president. Not Elizabeth. Not Tony. Everyone needs to make their own choices. The Edwards raised eyebrows from both ideologies when they chose to continue campaigning. Leave these people alone.

The difference is Edwards, rather then spend what could be the last few years with his wife, continues to seek the Presidency to feed his ego.
Edwards' wife's cancer is noncureable
Snow, will be fine

This is beneath everyone!! I didn't see or hear one Republican or "con" as you so childishly put it say one thing nasty about Elizabeth Edwards. You can do whatever you want, you are already beneath contempt for even asking the question as far as I am concerned.
