They dont believe in scented soaps or oils like we do. So when they bathe, not only do they not use scented soap, they dont use anything else. They want to be and have their own scent. And its not just Hindu's who believe this, theres alot of people who do this. Its also alot with what they tend to eat. Have you ever ate something with garlic in it? If so, the next day, you can bathe, brush and gargle, and still others smells your garlic breath and body oders. Its the same thing.

The diet has a lot to do with it. The Hindu culture usually includes lots of spices when cooking their food, and this translates into "body" smells.

This isn't the only culture however, every one has it's little quirks.

Have you ever eaten asparagus? When you do, and then use the restroom afterwords, the smell is usually overwhelming. Their are minerals in the vegetable that react to the body, and can cause an oder.

Hope that this helps!!!

It's the spices used in cooking-people from various geographic areas smell differently because of this. Particularly if it's an area that used a lot of garlic or curry.

Nice. Might want to work on your delivery a little bit.

Maybe they wonder why you smell funny. I've heard that white americans smell like balogna to other people.

People smell like what they eat and what surrounds them in the home. I smell like garlic and cigarettes. To someone that can't identify those smells, I simply "smell funny".

Perhaps it is an herb or a spice used? BO has a pretty unmistakable smell, so you'll know if someone isn't showering. A "funny smell" isn't necessarily poor hygeine.

thats racist, categorizing someone who stinks according to their religion or colour is stupid, if someone decided to change faith of have surgery, will he be an exception? i met a lot of stinky people, and i say it boldly "people"! i personally cant think of anyone else.

but at the same time they do wear cologne, maybe thats it
