They are constantly at war with each other and the world so the have not built up their infrastructure (both physically and economically) which would allow growth, you can not grow and become independent unless your basic infrastructure is in tact, for example: water, electric, banking systems, etc.

Your question is very surprisingly igmnorant, which shows that you never actually looked out of the box.
I would agree with the others that not all Muslim Countries are unferdeveloped. You seem to equalise development with money. If that's the case then Most Muslim countries are NOT underdeveloped.
Countries which come under the definition of 3rd world are those which donot have a governance, poor education system, poverty etc. in which case even several non Muslim countries are underdeveloped.
Do your research a little bit more...

Disagree with you on that take. Arab countries have the oil (they're predominantly Muslim). They are not at all UNDER THE THIRD WORLD CATEGORY. Most of the Muslim nations are from Asia, particularly in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam. A huge chunk of the Islamic religion are found in Africa. Some countries in Asia who are Muslim are in the Third World Category because of some upsetting economic instability in the past, particularly due to political bickering and social divisions. This is a common cause among Asian countries, not just isolating it to countries whose religion is Islam. Whether Muslim or not, Africa's economy has been in the slump particularly due to social onslaught, economic instability (because of the West's exploitation of their resources), and political division in its neophyte government system (most of the countries gained independence only in the 1950s). Hence, you really cannot factor-in religion as a key factor. The factor really comes from the economic and political history these countries have.

Typical ignorace...most Muslim countries aren't even in the Middle East. The largest Muslim country in the world is Indonesia, which is a completely different kind of culture.
And you mean "3rd world"--a "whorl" is a shape found on fingerprints.

I dont think so. Dubai third world? I dont think so. Algeria third world, Morocco, Tunisia? No, no and no.
Undeveloped LOL have you see the palms resorts in Dubai? Obviously not.

Islam did not take over Western Europe like Christianity did. These countries were far more developed at the time leading to advanced countries in the present. Equally, the oil Sheiks are rich and powerful, but the commoners have nothing to do with the oil thus making them poor. Their not all third world, look at the UAE.

The western world in particular abuses the reserves and land of the third world. Look what happened in Iraq-they just want the oil but used excuses such as trying to liberate the people to start an illegal war (on so called terror)

If you mean the middle east, like you said they have oil. Most of their development is in oil machinery.
