Here's what I recently did for friends who were celebrating a 30 year anniversary......

They lived in a house - not an apartment, so I went to the local plantscape nursery and asked for a tree or plant that basically had interest all year round but was slow growing and easily maintained. I ended up purchasing a drawf weeping cherry tree (FANTASTIC) and planted it for them in their selected spot.

They loved the thoughtfulness of the gift and by having a living part of their landscape they nowhave the ability to remember me plus the tree also serves as a reminder of their love and long life together.

Several people have said they wish they would have thought of something similar.

Try Things Remebered. They have alot of nice things that you can have personalized. I'm a guy so hope that helps I have gone there and it has gotten me out of a jam or two. I will give the site but if you can go to the store its better.
