In may opinion, these are my top ten. It is very difficult to compare athletes from different eras, but my judgement is based on the game before all the "sissy" rules were invoked.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar~ The games greatest center and the master of the "Sky Hook"

Larry Bird~ The "Hick from French Lick" will be one of the game's purest shooters

Wilt "The Stilt" Chamerlain~ His 100 point scoring performance against the New York Knicks in '62.....need I say more!

Julius "Dr. J" Erving~ He helped to revolutionize the play above the rim....one of the greatest dunkers of all-time with the signiture "Tomahawk"

Earvin "Magic" Johnson~ One of the most unique and successful players to every play the game....won championships at every level (high school, college, professional, international)...also my all-time favorite, he made it a dream to play point guard!

Michael "Air" Jordan~ Simply the games most dominat and unstoppable force...he left the game as the greatest and will be for a very long time

William "Bill" Russell~ The centerpiece of the Celtics Dynasty that won 11 Championships during his 13 year career...his shot blocking and man-to-man defense make him one of the best defenders to play the game

Jerry "Mr. Clutch" West ~ One of the games deadliest shooters and tenatious defenders made him a complete player...his ability to perform in the clutch situations made him the perfect "go to guy"

John Stockton~ one of the best point guards of all time, holding the NBA record for career assists and steals. He is the only player to actually look half-way decent in the "short" shorts.

Oscar "The Big O" Roberston~ The only player in NBA history to average a triple-double for an entire season. One of the most versatile players of all-time.
