It was "What's my line pt.2" & was first used by Xander in trying to convince Cordy to put aside her prejudices v Buffy & co by helping them fight the vampires etc.

it was in Season II the episode was called Whats My Line, and it was Xander who said it to Cordelia, xander said while trying to get into buffys house thru the window " if you wanna be a member of the scoobies, you hafta be inconveinced every now and then".. he asked Cordy for a ride, and one of the order of tiracca assassins was next door waiting for buffy.. he was a man made of bugs..

Not precisely, but I guess Season 2 and I'm sure Oz uses it first.

hmm... I would have to agree with the first post about season 2, placing Oz as the person who said it first makes sense.
I <3 Buffy, and I wish they showed it at a better time... 7am on weekdays... seriously, who can ever watch it?

I believe that it is the thrid season. Faith was always calling them that because they would not included her check out TV.com the will give all the info you need
