I have just started a workout plan that consists of kickboxing areobics 4 to 5 times a week. The sessions lasts from 35-45 minutes. I do not think that is enough to lose my target weight loss of 50 pounds.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to increase the weight loss so I can reach my target goal. I have lost ten pounds so far, but nothing more after that.

incoperate weight lifting into your regement, maybe 4- 5 days a week as well, prior to the kick boxing the more muscle you gain the more fat you'll burn. also, if you wanted too. bump up your protein intake. right now i'm cutting weight and i sub breakfast and lunch for a 16 oz protein shake . 2 light snacks in between. fruits veggies, maybe a can of tuna or 2. then a medium dinner and a 8 oz shake before bed. protein helps burn fat and grow muscle while you sleep. keep up the good work

actually, you'll burn more calories and feel less hungry if your workout only brings your heart rate up 15 beats higher per minute. By working out vigorously, you are gaining muscle, which wieghs more than the fat you have. That is if you are thinking about the numbers and not the body shape.

Start a light weight training routine. Don't overstrain yourself. It's helpful to tone up and any muscle you build will burn more calories 24 hours a day than the same amount of fat.
