I would always say "me and whoever." My parents would ALWAYS say "whoever and me" DAILY! I can still hear them ringing in my ear!

My mom always corrected me when I said "Me and Jon" instead of "Jon and I".

My parents never corrected my gramar, I was to busy correcting theirs. Growing up, my parents would constantly say "ain't" and it would drive me crazy. My mom still has a really bad habit of saying "warsh", instead of "wash", and my sister often picks up words and phrases from my mom that are totally incorrect and sound terrible.

It wasn't a grammatical error, but my Mom used to get so upset when I wrote my 7's with a horizontal line through the middle. Whatta wack job.

I don't know if this is necessarily a grammatical error, but when I was younger, we used to have boyfriends and say we were "Going out w/...." My mom would ALWAYS say....You're in middle school, you don't "go out w/ someone" you "date" them. Ummm....ok! Same thing right? lol!

I don't remember my mom correcting anything I said, but I think it's more likely I would have corrected her.

Double negatives and just about everything you can think of. Maybe that`s why I am so anal about grammar and spelling on YA.
