I'm writing a paper for my English class, about someone who we think is a champion. I have to list ideas that'll be put in my paper as to why I think he's a champion.

So far I have came up with...

- He's a celebritiy horse trainer

-Horse Whisperer (<-- is he?)

-And teaches people ot understand, listen and respect your horses.

I was wondering if you guys could help me out a little. I have never done any horsemanship with some horses I am training, but after watching a couple of youtube.com videos, now I'm really imspired to them.

Thank you.

I'm not a Parelli fan at all! Many of his methods are unsafe and dangerous for both horse and handle. He's in if for the money, not the horses.... no way I'm paying out the butt for some Carrot stick and a rope halter, because he said it's the only way. That's a load! I'd much more recomend doing your report on John Lyons, Clinton Anderson, or someone like that. Parelli is a joke!

I like Clinton Anderson, he shows how he gets horses to do things. Pat Parelli just shows alot of tricks and he doesn't really show how he gets the horses that far. I've just watched him on TV and Iam not really impressed. We train horse and we use methods from different trainers, kinda combine them with what ever works for us. We also read books, My husband likes Mike Kevil to.

His horses (and those of his students) seem to really enjoy their work. He's good at communicating with animals and with people. He wants people to have a better relationship with their horses for the betterment of both species.
