Nope, would rather see the OBGYN than do tax preparation every year. We need the flat tax. Every person over the age of 18 should pay 5% of their wage to taxes, including social security and medicare with no refund due anyone at the end of the year. This way only employers, corporations and the self-employed would have to submit proof of having paid the taxes at the end of the year. While the employee would only have to file a copy of their W-2 as proof of having paid their taxes for the year. This way no single group of wage earners is targeted to "support" the rest of the population, everyone pays a fair share.

Yeah I could think of a few things I hate more. I have my taxes done by an accountant 30 min. in and out and I've never had to pay.

Well, look at it this way; think of how much more you'd hate it if it weren't for the Bush tax cuts and the Democrats still had their way. If that doesn't make you queasy in the pit of your stomach, read again about the billions of dollars in pork that Nancy Peloser crammed into the Troop Funding bill in order to buy votes with your tax dollars.

No, there is nothing short of violence worse than doing your taxes. I'm getting depressed just knowing you are out there doing them.

Well, I am forced to have a CPA do mine for me because it is too complicated for me to do without danger of going afoul of the IRS.
Can't wait for the Fair Tax bill to come out of committee.

I did mine in January. Got it over with. What I do hate is what the taxes are funding. Iraq, Israel and lining the pockets of the already rich.
