really depends on the person who's funeral you're attending. most often it's a good idea to wear darker shades and be classy out of respect for the person. when my uncle died we all wore our fishing gear. waders, vests, stupid hats and that sort of thing but he was a different sort of man and would have been a little upset if we got out our good clothes. he lived to be outdoors so we dressed the part and he would have enjoyed it.

depends on the person who died. if it was someone really close to you, then you can wear what you think they would want you to wear. if you don't know the person very well, then i would go with gray and black maybe some white, but not to much. some funerals are about remembering the person and it is celebration of their life. some funerals are just depressing and everyone is in a funk. when my dad died 7 months ago, it was a celebration. i was sad, but i was also drunk.

Sad to hear about it.
You should look into several things: Religion, what's customary for the family of the deceased, if the person who died didn't have any special requests.
For most cultures you should wear black and avoid going in jeans, however, there are some people that request the attendees go dressed in some special color...or wearing a certain kind of clothes.

Funeral finery has changed alot over the last few decades. For men, dark slacks and a dark button down is fine, generally a jacket as well. For women, a skirt, dark slacks, and a nice top are appropriate.

Something dark and conservative. Jeans are bad. Red, pink, or anything bright or revealing is also not a good idea. Leather is also bad, unless you are at a biker funeral.

Generally a dark suit (coat & tie) or dark dress.

If the deceased was a close friend or relative, I don't think it matters. Your there to pay your respects to those loved and lost.

I am sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in your good memories and with those loved ones still with you.

It used to be black, but any subdued color is fine now - gray or brown or black or tan. I'd stay away from anything really colorful or in bright colors, and I wouldn't just wear jeans and a t-shirt either. Business casual would be good.

Dark colored clothes (doesn't have to be black, can be brown, navy or similar). I usually wear the kind of clothes I wear to the office. Heels are ok, but could be difficult to walk in.

I'm sorry you have to ask this question. :-(

Black clothes but you should also wear a red tie to be unique. But if you don't like the tie you should wear a blue tie with blue and red little stripes.

Traditionally, you are to wear black, but color is mostly accepted too. Nice clothes, dark dress pants and nice dress shirt, but the shirt can still be a subtle color.
