No it's not illegal to shooot at your own mailbox..but 4 sale signs is questionable.....But, there may be a law regarding shooting those type of guns at all either on your own private property or in public...better check.
The last question regarding animals...completely illegal..you could be charged with animal cruelty and sent to jail...even for a pest type animal.

First let me say that a person like your self is the type of person that gives gun owners a bad name! Sounds like you are trying to be the neighbor hood Rambo. On you Mail box question, It is against Federal law to vandalize a mail box weather it be yous or your neighbors. When you buy a mail box it becomes Federal property the day you get your first mail delivery in it. Now lets say you go and put your camo on and your face paint on your Rambo knife straped to your leg and your high powered .177 cal BB gun and start operation mail box killer. When you have succeeded in taking your mail box out the post office can send you a notice letting you know that that they will not deliver mail to your box until you install a new box. Know why would you want to shoot 4 sale signs and animals that more than likely have done nothing to you. Grow up and quit watching the movie Dumba** . Also stop trying to make a video for You-tube.

Guess what... You may purchase that mailbox - but it isn't REALLY, totally, completely yours! (I won't go into my decade long argument with the USPS...)
Yes darlin... the title of the law you are searching for is called "Vandalism." If the items belong to YOU - who's gonna report it?
THEN there's the issue of - are you within a restricted fire area, such as city limits?
In the case of animals, you are required by the state and county where you live to obtain a hunting license for designated animals in designated areas during prescribed seasons. Shooting just any old time - anywhere - and unlicensed - is illegal.
If you fire a weapon at any time - and harm comes to an individual, or to an individual's property as the result of discharging your weapon, YOU are civilly and perhaps criminally liable. Who wants to go to jail just 'cause they were trying to nail a pidgeon?
A child killed his sister with a BB gun recently.
It was an accident.
There are no "do-overs" when something you do for recreation takes a life.
Act responsibly, hon - or you will be HELD RESPONSIBLE.
Peace.

All mounted mailboxes are under the purview of the USPS and it's illegal to cause destruction of them. However, if you go buy a mailbox, but don't put it up on a mail route, say, just take it into the back yard, you can blast to your hearts content.
You may be interested to know that money is not yours either, it is a crime to destroy any currency of the US....it is on 'loan' to you only.

Yes. It's a class d felony in all 50 states of the USA to
vandalise a mailbox even if you own it. Shooting at For
Sale signs is illegal too unless you own them, it is called vandalism. As for animals, domestic animals such as dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, (ie pets your own or someone else's)
is illegal. Farm animals (your own or someone elses) is illegal. Wild animal...squirrels, rabbits, etc....illegal to shot at unless you have a proper hunting license from your local fish and game department.

Every state, county, and city has its own laws regarding things like this. Sometimes they even contradict eachother, but you will have to find out specifically from your local government.
