politically correct. I am tired of trying to live up to other people expectations of what is right and wrong. As the old saying goes, by any other name a rose still smells the same. Why change a name of a description of a person when the original word has worked for the past 100 years

Along those same lines, definately the "n" word.
Along other lines, I would like to have a talk with our President, whose wife advocates reading programs, but who apparently can't read himself. Otherwise, he would see that there is ONE "u" in "nuclear" and no letters come between the "c" and the "l". I know it's not a real word, it's just a pronunciation, but I'd like to permanently erase "nuc-yoo-lar" from the planet.
Hooked on Phonics, Mr. President. Look into it.

i would like more time to narrow it down. for now;
1) need
2) mine
3) promise
4) stupid
5) shut up
the reason i picked such broad terms is because the words fa##ot, ni##er, cu#t, can all be eliminated, but the idea behind it remains. words are verbal expressions of ideas, and so the word isn't as important as the expressed mentality. bigots will always have another "expression" to make up for the one lost.

But
This word has a very negative connotation in conversation.
For example,
"I am sorry that I did that and I understood how it really hurt you but I was really angry."
See how that word creates an excuse, let alone down plays the seriousness and the feelings of the other person.
We should abollish the word, God knows we need to work on better communication.

The "C" word definitely - or the "F" word. I think there would be an awful lot of quiet people in the world if they couldn't use the "F" word in every sentence!

Hate! It's too strong a word. I prefer to use the word "dislike" instead.

the word "should", because we will end up dwelling on the past, and forget we "could" look into the future

"Must"
Its always pejorative. It says there are no other options but THERE ARE ALWAYS other options as in
"you will fail" "you will die""you will be embarrassed"
So you fail you fail, you die you die, you get embarrassed you get embarrassed. Cop it sweet!
"If you don't do this - then this will probably happen is much better. Who am I to tell anyone what THEY must do?"
