Isn't Bush the best thing the Dems could ever hope for?

(Only if so many lives were not lost in the process)

I must admit that I am enjoying the show, when I am not completely mortified by this administrations actions. I cannot wait to read the future historian's (in next decade or two)accounts of the worst presidency in the history of this country and how the biggest sham over the American people (especially the ones that voted for this) was so easily pulled off.
So when we progressives are not fighting to instill some sanity back to our wonderful nation we can enjoy the unraveling and inevitable fall of the conservative coup!

imaginitive, you should get out extra. in case you are able to not see that bush has almost RUINED this u . s . a . then you definately are blind or having some considerable problems with denial. and that i do no longer care if he's republican or democrat or despite the fact that, he's a TRAITOR. for my section, it particularly isn't any longer approximately political occasion anymore. we ought to get this u . s . a . fastened. era. particularly, i think of the democrats are to blame in this mess besides. in the event that they hadn't signed each and every little bit of paper that grow to be put in front of them, and had relatively finished THEIR activity, a number of the guidelines bush has been waiting to bypass might on no account have been. relatively, they have bought out the yank human beings. i think of the coolest purchase of them must be tried for treason. And if this makes each and every physique mad, then sturdy. i in my opinion do no longer care. possibly that's what needs to take place. possibly then a number of you will relatively commence appearing slightly diagnosis on a number of the crap that has been happening relatively of being spoon fed via the government.

Finally, someone who thinks posts something about the 2 major parties!

The man has possibly the lowest approval rating of all time! He's a guy the American people would like to see impeached, but it's often asked if he's done anything to merrit impeachment. This leaves him on as a cancer to the Republican party, that just makes them look worse and worse.

I voted for the man twice because the candidates that ran against him were flat out jokes.

I do not support him now based only on his inability or inaction to deal with our borders.

The war in Iraq is going well. Anyone who thinks otherwise is very uninformed. The economy has been the best this country has EVER seen.

The left will not win again in 2008 because in the end, the American people will see through all the lies and garbage that has been thrown at them.

Not by himself. The Democrats needed the Republicans to have the Congress and the Senate too. That way the Republican policies would have absolutely no interference and the majority of the American populace would see how entirely screwed up Conservative politics are.

Conservatives, however, have come up with a new way to irrationalize their viewpoints. Because they see Bush's policies failing and they can't come to the reality that conservative politics failed, their only option is to label George W. Bush as a liberal (insert uproar of laughter here). That way they're still always right and its just the figurehead of conservative politics that was wrong.

Bush and guys like Karl Rove and Tom DeLay are the Democrats best friends. Tom DeLay wanted to turn the US into the Soviet Union, a nation ruled by a one-party system.

Bush is also weakening the Presidency - which is a good thing. The federal government is supposed to be open to inspection by the public - don't any of them remember the phrase "for the people, by the people, of the people." By trying to turn the Executive branch into an ultra-secretive boys club fraught with cronyism, favoritism and secrecy, he ensures that future Presidents will have to be more open, more diverse and undergo more scrutiny.

He's managed to slant morality as an issue we should legislate with the whole gay marriage amendment. It was a cheap shot and trick to steer conservatives away from criticizing the war. I think he has honestly done the opposite. And that is the scariest truth of all.

I think if members of both parties started putting the country first and their party second, we'd all be better off.
