I want to write a letter to President of senate of XX state. I am not quite sure how I should solute in the letter. Like, "Dear President"? Is that right?
Help, please. and thanks.

Do you mean the senator of your state? If so address it as Dear Senator XXX. If you want to write to the President you would address it as Drear President Bush and so on.

Mister Prezi and not Dear.

Mister in a really democratic country

His excellency when he is a declared totalitarian, or a dictator.

Dear when he used to be your Buddy fro ex.

you shd state the name of the president
cos it might take some time for the letter to reached Bush and there is likely possibility he migth have left office by then

Mitch McConnell:

But that's because he doesn't deserve any respect....
