My hamster started acting inactive last night. I was king of wondering if she was ok last night. But all night has not gone on her wheel, she has been sleeping in one spot the whole night.
I have read every disease hamsters get. The only one that would make sense is Hibernation, because the house is too cold. But I turned up the heater, and my room is the warmest. Somebody tell me what to do. And what she might have.

My hamster did move and raised her head, and then turned around and back to burrowing. I have not seen her eat.

Look in your phone book for a small animal vet. They specialize in hamsters, gerbils, rats ect. Give them a call and see what they say. Office visits should be cheaper then taking a dog or cat (at least they are here). How long have you had her? Maybe she is just old, life span isn't much more then a couple years.

Just looked at your update. Yippee, maybe she was tired from the move and change in her environment. Good luck with her!

hamsters sleep during the day most active at night if your home is cold your hamster could be very well hybernating have you also attempted to touch your hamster to see if it moves.
