Advantages...It's a huge source of data that can be used to research information that's used for Reports, learning, business, Buying and selling, current events...It can be used for Games and entertainment. However of course the disadvantages include inapropriate sites for children (and adults) viruses, and a lack of privacy. People can learn all about you from seeing which sites you visit, what you bought, your profile etc. Also it can bcome a major addiction and time waster.

advantage: find tons of information freely and quickly, gives people jobs..
disadvantage: no guarantee that information is correct, you can spend hours sitting on your *** browsing the web instead of doing things like sleeping, exercising, meeting other people etc..
