I won't read your tube thing,--no time-- but now am no longer in education and into something else, I wrote a letter to our editor of this newspaper... it said this:
"As a teacher of history and political science, I often told my students that our constitution was so strong, the checks and balances so well thought out, that this country could elect, nor could it ever be led by anyone as dangerous as Hitler was in Nazi Germany. Clearly I was wrong. And to those students, I offer my deepest apologies."

I've wondered about the undertones of wording it Homeland Security. It does have an authoritarian sound to it. DHS and KGB could become synonymous in the future if there is not vigilance over the DHS's activities. Part of the problem we're dealing with is that the Neo-Conservative movement is essentially a group of former Marxists that gravitated to the right after the fall of communism. Unfortunately, they brought their ideological zeal and Marxist authoritarian nature with them and I think that is reflected in the "Big Government Republican" era of George W Bush.
