Has anyone out their ever had extremely sore breasts while taking their birth control? I have been on yasmin for 2 months and ever since i have been taking it the sides of my breasts have been very sore. Its like where the lymph nodes are under your arm pit. I have to see my doctor next month regarding my birth control and was wondering if i should bring this up or if it may be another problem. I was even thinking maybe its from my bra or something maybe being to tight on the sides, because thats where it hurts. Sometimes it hurts so bad i just want to cry. Anyone else have this problem. I'm leaning towards the pills because i've had this pain for two months and thats exactly how long i have been on the pills. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I'm on Aviane, and I had very sore nipples for the entirety of the second month. But it went away. I think it was just my body adjusting.

I would say to give it four full months as it takes at least three for your body to adjust. If you are still in pain (or if the pain becomes unbearable before then), talk to your doctor. He or she might be able to put you on a different kind of pill.

But that kind of pain I used to have when I wore wire bras right before my period. It was awful. So, it could be a combination of things. Does it lessen when you take off your bra?

Either way, give your body time to adjust, or act immediately if you can't take the pain anymore. Good luck!
