Can anyone suggest a site or give quick tips on how to repair a non-working light (1 of 4) on a ceiling fan?

All the sites I've found so far just give instructions on installing the fan.

If one of the light sockets on a fan no longer works, it's either the socket itself (unlikely) or the wiring to the socket. That wiring is not the wiring of the light kit to the wiring coming out of the ceiling, but is internal in the fixture and often is not visible without taking the fixture apart. The easiest fix is to simply buy a new light kit for the fan. They are generally not expensive and you can use those install instructions you found to put it on.
