Yes, you could be pregnant, but I'd wait until your period is at least 5 days overdue before I'd take the test.

Anytime you have unprotected sex, on the pill or not, you have a chance at becoming pregnant, or contracting an std. If you have not started your period by the end of next week then , yes take a test. In the future for your safety please use protection, remember without it you run the risk of getting something way more life changing than a child. The pill also realy is not in full affect until you have been on it at least a month.

It depends on the pill you are on .... and what the instructions tell you but most of them dont require any backup contraception if started with a period. AS LONG AS YOU DID NOT FORGET ANY.

Ex. I am taking Femcon and if if started within 24hrs of starting your period then you DO NOT need any type of backup contraception. But if started the Saturday after you start your period then you NEED backup contraception for the first 7days.

Find the information sheet that came with your pills and read it to find out if you should have used back up contraception or not. Other then that I would wait and see if you start your period and if not then wait a few days and take a HPT.

Wait. If your period is late then take a pregnancy test. Usually, you are suppose to be on the pill for a month for its accuracy! If the pregnancy test comes up positive call your OBGYN to get a blood test. If you are pregnant you also need to get off the pill!

You should have waited a full month after your on the pill before taking any chances. PLUS, what about disease? Have you both been tested? Having unprotected sex can also lead to AIDS and tons of other sexually transmitted diseases.
Normally the pill is pretty effective, but you have to get it in your system for a month first!

take a test, see a doctor. anytime you have unprotected sex you run the change of becomming pregnant. nothing is 100% safe except for just not doing it. 1 week is not hardly enough time for the pill to start working in your system. always use back up protection.

Wait a couple of weeks and you should probably use condoms at least the first month. Also be careful of STD's even if you feel that you are both being faithful. Some things you can get you can't get rid of and can affect a baby if you ever become pregnant.

Most pills become effective within the first 48 hours, but it depends on your brand.

I would wait it out another week, but dont stress about it because stress can cause a late period which will then stress you more. Just relax about it, but dont go out binge drinking or anything like that just in case.
