i have also received no holiday pay... is this legal

Part time means the numbers of hours you work in a week - you're pretty much in that bracket if you're working under 40 hrs and as for holiday pay, yes, that is legal, because it depends on a company if they decide to pay their employees time and a half, which not all do. So the next time you're being interviewed or accepting a job, make sure to ask what their wages are for vacation, holidays, etc. There's a lot employers can get away with and it's all legal.

Yes, of course. If you were in full time you will get paid with a day's wages or a monthly salary. And when you have a day's wages or a part time you will never recieve a holiday pay.

Well I'm sure you are entitled to some holiday days but certainly not the amount you'd be getting than a person that works full-time.

Check out your contract, it should give you the information you want.
