However, as far as the new telephone code of 703, it does not sound right for London. All London telephone codes start with 0207 and o208. A new code will be introduced next summer which will be 0203 (not 703). Here you can find the information:

London is to get a third telephone code. From next summer the prefix 0203 will be brought in alongside 0207 and 0208.


The new code is needed to fill increasing demand for phone lines from businesses and the growing number of single-occupancy flats.

It will cover the whole of Greater London rather than either inner or outer London as the codes which were introduced in 2000 did.
