They do. It is called the E63 M6. 6-Series have always been essentially 5-Series Coupes. The chassis is the exact same as that on the 5-Series, albeit not as long. Right now, the 5-Series have the chassis designation E60, and the 6-Series is the E63. The engine on the M5 and the M6 are identical, it is the S85 V10 engine producing 507 bhp in 500P S mode. Otherwise the S85 produces only 400 bhp. You must turn on the sport mode and launch control in order to have access to the full 507 bhp.

I have never seen a 4-door convertible and in all honestly they don't make sense, even a regular convertible in terms of performance is foolish. You have to really build up the car in order to make the bracing and the suspension work right. The 5-Series is just far too large.

The 6-Series is the 5-Series convertible lineup. Most people complain that a 6-Series is too much money. Well, you have to remember that the 650i does not come with the BMW Inline 6 engine, it only comes with the V8. The V8 engine is the same found on the 550i sedan. So it would be right to say that the 650i is like buying a 550i convertible.

well said sam!! the 6 is essentially a 5 convertible. A four door convertible is ridiculous and would have a very light market.
