...sex offenders have to register after they are released from prison but murderers do not?
Don't you think the public should also know if they live next door to someone who killed another person?

agreed. I think anyone with a felony arrest should have to register, no matter the offense.

I think they should all have to register. I think sex offenders need to have a tracking device implanted in their bodies so police know where they are at all times.

I completely agree...but I don't think any of those people should be allowed to live with society - what's done is done - they should be sent to an island where there is no food after they get out of prison.

Yes, I agree, but I also think that sex offenders should stay behind bars. Even more so if they prey on young children.

that's a touchy area. myself, i'd definitely want to know, but saying that, what if it were a woman whose hubby had been beating her and she killed him in self-defense-should she have to carry that burden w/ her for the rest of her life? i mean, as for sex offenders there's really no way they can defend what they did, but there might be mitigating circumstances w/ murder.

yes, its insane. Sex offenders shouldn't be released in the first place, and neither should murderers

Call me crazy, but I think I'd rather live next door to a murderer than a child molestor.

No. We're supposed to figure that out by now. Kids are too little and innocent. Protect the Innocents. We can handle ourselves!!

i think they should all have to, i mean if i lived next to a burglar i'd want to know so i could put some extra deadbolts on.
