I'm white and I'm not skinny. You shouldn't generalise.

I'm not sure of the scientific reasoning but I believe that it is in their culture that they believe it looks better. I live in Chicago by the Lake and I see lots of white girls jogging and running. I even hear comments that they could never have big hips or thighs...they would die. So I think they are skinny because they want to be skinny

not all "white" girls are skinny/thin. I live in Chicago land area, if you go by the lake, yes then white girls are thin. As you get further from the lake they put on a few extra pounds. It all depends on where they live and their influences.

Not all of them are, I am a white girl, and I have meat on my bones. You can find skinny people in all ethnic categories if you look...
