Hey, yesterday I bought a grape plant which was about 2 feet tall and just starting to grow vines. What I wanna know is, how do you maintain a grape plant? Can you eat the grapes after the first time they grow, or do you need to wait until the second harvest? Just some tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

Plant the grape plant according to directions on the container. Most grapes do not like "wet feet" so make sure the soil is prepared for good drainage. You will need some type of trellis or other means to keep the vines off the ground and to grow along. I have not heard of not eating the first grapes. Not like strawberries that recommend pinching off the first blooms to promote growth.
