any one has or know about Acer Aspire 3054?

Question

I did not find much information about it on the net, but it does not seem that great anyway. I need a laptop and was waiting till I go to USA or till a family member or a friend comes to Egypt but I desperately need it at this time and this is the only one I could find with a decent price in Egypt (laptops prices in Egypt are very high) anyone has any information about it please? should I go for it or should I wait?

I was able to get this info about Acer Aspire 3054 only from a site in Thailand. I suspect this peticular model was not a " World Wide Model ".
This in its self does not say the Acer Aspire 3054 will not function correctly, but you may have a hard time in getting support.

While I was working in Saudi Arabia ( back in 2005 ), I bought a ACER Aspire 1642NWLMi, I used it extensivally in that Harsh Enviroment, It has never been in any repair shop.
It is a very good Laptop. However, I was Never able to get ACER to Register the SN for Warrentee Purposes.

I paid 3799 SR ( $ 1013.06 ), rather expensiave, yes.

Personally, I am happy with my Acer, I would buy Acer over any other laptop brand. but everyone must make there own decisions

I can't tell you about that specific model but I have and use an Acer9410 model and have for the last six or seven months. It is used daily for eight to ten hours a day and I've found it great.
If the model you are interested in is anything like mine you'll be happy with it.

i am not sure what series mine is but i love it..i have had it for awhile now and it is fast and does just what i need.
