There are four types of sentences.
DECLARATIVE: Makes a statement. Root of the word: declare.
IMPERATIVE: Tells you to or asks you to do something. Does not have a written subject. The word imperative, when not referring to sentences, means that it is a MUST.
ex. Please turn off the TV.
INTERROGATIVE: Asks a question. See the root of the word, interrogate?
EXCLAMATORY: Any of the above types of sentences, but has an exclamation point. Root of the word: exclaim.

An interrogative sentence of the yes-no type means that the answer to the question can only be yes or no.

1. Are the boys playing tennis?
2. Do you think I am right? or Do you think you are right?
-depends on who "I" is.
3. Should we invite Renu to the party?
4. Does she like dogs?

You can do this yourself! An interrogative sentence is one that asks a question. In this case you need to make a question to which the answer is either yes or no.
