Angelina had a very strange reaction to her whole pregnancy and delivery, she in fact, is a very strange person in a lot of ways...so I would not take what she says with too much seriousness. Babies are beautiful and no, they are not blobs.
Maybe Ms. Jolie should stick to adopting- she apparently does not like the process of childbirth.

I understand where she was coming from since babies do just sit there dazed, sort of. My mother was offended when I said babies just look like little aliens or something for the first few weeks. They don't really have distinct look, but I have to say they are cute. So, yeah, they can be considered little blobs, but not offensively.

well a baby no, but a fetus during the first few weeks yes, my sister is pregnant and her first ultrasound pointed to this little ball and said baby. thye kinda look like blobs for the first few months

I'msure she didn't mean anything by it, she prob meant it in a joking way, in another way of saying she's chubby, I doubt she was being mean at all. I love little babies and I know how some people call their babies them names in a joking funny way, nothing offensive at all, I do not know the tone of her voice when she said that but I doubt that she was serious, she's a good mother

In the artical, she was refering to how when they are newborn, they just lay around. They dont focus on you, cant smile or anything. She was right in that they dont do much for the first few weeks. Just sleep, eat, and cry. My son is 14 weeks now, and he isnt a blob anymore. lol.
