how bad does it hurt when u Pierce the Cartilage part of ur Ear?

this was the piercing that hurt the worst for me, & i have 14 total facial piercings (including my ears)...the area stayed tender for a couple of days after i had it pierced, so i had to be careful, esp. if i tried to sleep laying on that side...but even having said that, the pain was not extreme or anything, just slightly worse than the others...

The act of getting it done doesn't hurt that bad, but it does hurt more than getting it done lower on your ear. Afterwards, though, it hurts a lot longer than I'd expeced. Be really careful about cleaning it frequently so it doesn't get infected. I was just surprised because it kept hurting when you touch it for a couple weeks, and then the first time you change it is bad too. I found out later that it's easier to get someone else to help change it the first time though. I did my friend's for her recently and she said that made it a lot easier, but did agree about the pain.

It doesn't hurt really at all. I think it all depends on your tolerance for pain. When i got mine done, I just heard to cartilage pop when the ear-peircing gun went through-groos sounding i know but it's really not that bad. It made me want to get another one. I used to peirce ears and usually girls-and guys would come in and start freaking out about how they thought the pain would be, then afterwards they were like, "Oh, that's it? I feel stupid. It didn't hurt at all." Just go get it done. It's not bad at all.

Not too bad I promise, I've had it done about 5 times, it stings and gets really hot for a while but as long as you keep it clean you will be fine. Infection hurts worse than the actual piercing I think.
