You could also try dying it with tea. Ever tried to get a tea stain out?

Oooo tough one. I don't think you can cover a bleach splash. Because the bleach dyes the carpet a lighter color. The only thing you can do is cut a circle out where the bleach landed and replace with a new carpet circle the same size....patch it in other words.

You could repair it by cutting out the damage area and replacing that with a piece of carpeting left over from that carpet or try a remnant bought from a carpet store that has the same color and pattern carpet as yours, cut it and stick it in the cutout to match no one will know but you. Good Luck !

Go to the craft store and get fabric paint in as close a match as you can and touch it up by hand. I have done this a couple times after spills or burns and it works very well.

Ouch. I feel for you. The only thing I can think of is go get some fabric die to match. http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf471033.tip.html I just went to this web site and it has a number of ideas. Including using tea. I think it will help. check it out.
