When a cop comes to the door, the best thing to do is stay calm and see what he wants and try not to act suspicious. I don't know if you did anything wrong and he probably will say that before he gives you the news on why he's there. He may need you for a court summons to sit and be a member of the jury. Just Don't Panic, a lot of people panic when cops come to the door, it's a "syndrome" of sorts because everyone associates cops with arrests and speeding tickets. But a cop coming to your door is not necessarily for a bad thing. Some cops are real nice guys but just don't get on their bad side.
