This depends on the browser that you are using. IE and Firefox are the most common, but all browsers give you the ability to "Clear History" or set your History =0.
With IE7, this is under the Tools menu, then select Internet Options. (there is also a item for "Delete Browsing History" but if you set the Options up correctly then you don't need to worry about doing this). Set your History value to 0 and then it won't keep the sites you have visited.
Firefox and Opera are free and excellent browsers in case you can't get IE to work the way you want it.

Go to the search box on the toolbars at the top on Internet Explorer and click the down arrow and click "Clear".
This varies though...

Go into control panel...internet options...delete temp internet files and history...go further and delete cookies as well! Then go into C:\ Documents and Settings\your name or user\Local Settings\Temp Internet files and make sure nothing is still there! Then go back a window to Local Settings and go to the cookies folder...open and delete all in there as well....your good to go!

if your usin internet explorer, go to tools, then internet options, and you can erase the history, and filled in forms. the problem that you are having is that it is saving things in every form that you fill in, including search sites. Hope this helps!
