Not guilty of what? Murder? Sure, there's self-defense, there's shooting in time of war, insanity, there's accidental shooting (like the Vice President). And then there are times where there'd be shootings and you're not guilty of murder, but some other lesser offense (negligent homicide, manslaughter, etc.

Well obviously in Texas it is but only as long as they trespass. but to tell you the truth I think everyone should spend time for shooting someone if they are killed.

1st, it depends on what crime you are being charged with. If you shot someone clearly in self-defense, you will be exonerated.
