Well, it's close with the Yanks' injuries right now, but you still have to say that the DRays' staff is worse. The Yanks still have Mussina and Rivera, both of whom are better than anyone the DRays have. And once Wang comes back it's no contest. Kazmir is a promising pitcher, but he hasn't actually made it yet.

Tampa. The yanks may not be loaded with pitchers, but at least they have a couple of good pitchers like Mussina, Andy Pettitte, Mariano Rivera, and Chien-Ming Wang. The Rays definetly have a worse pitching staff.

youre kidding right? even if you hate the yankees, any true baseball fan has to admit that tampa bay only has scott kazmir, anyone else on their staff couldnt beat a little league team. the yankees, even with injuries and age, still have an above average staff, and lets not forget the guy who is closing games for them

Tampa's because they dont have the line-up to fall back on like the Yankees do. They could average an ERA of 5 and probably STILL have a 20 game winner.....not many teams can say that......GO YANKEES!!!!

Lest we forget that Wang and Pettite will start the season on the DL? Pavano hasn't pitched in a major league game in three years. Mussina isn't getting any younger. The japenese pitcher is a question mark.
