Why did he come back "to win another championship" when he could easily declared for the NBA draft the year before and would probably be drafted #1? If not #1, then at least #2? He wouldn't be drafted any later than that.

Now, his stock has fallen to guys like Oden and Durant.

What an idiot!!!

He is wise for staying. Get an education! It is so underrated. Go Gators!

P.S. I love his hair.

1. Because $$ isn't everything

2. Because being a Gator is one of the best things in life.

3. Because he likes having fun still with his friends.

now he's in line to repeat, has a hot girlfriend, and will STILL get drafted, even if it's behind LeBron's overrated grandpa and Durant. Yep. He's an idiot.

Go Gators!

Edit: Jfenn -- I'm know for a fact that Americans look and sound retarded in other countries. And by the way, he's a class kid, having fun, clean, raised well -- I'd pick him on any team, at any time over some of the delinquents people drool over come draft time.

Get a life all of you and quit hating on a KID. I'm pretty sure all of YOU looked goofy, acted goofy and sounded goofy when YOU were younger...you just weren't on national TV.

Again, if he was on YOUR team, you'd be loving it.

BTW he was told to SIT OUT beggining of the year because of a really really REALLY bad respiratory infection, but HE DIDN'T. HE IS A TEAM PLAYER. But please, keep hating him. He's a retard *rolling eyes*

pathetic. really.

This is what kills me about questions like this one... no offense, but the man chose to remain in school to continue his education, win another championship, and out of loyalty to his coach and teammates! He came from money, his father is a former pro.. he doesn't have to go this year if Oden and Durant decide to enter, he could play his senior season. Regardless he will be a lottery pick. Not only that he was born in Europe, so worst case he could always make a living over there for 12-17 years. It used to be that athletes were called "idiots" for leaving school early, now he is for staying?

He's retarded as he is a dumbass. He knew Oden and Durant would be the tops this year and he could've been last year, but wanted to prove they could repeat as champs. He might not even be drafted ahead of Al Horford. Once you win the championship, you've pretty much experienced it all at the college level, It was perfect for him to come out last year. He didn't, his life and his lo$$.

I don't think he worries about possibly missing out on money. Remember, he is the son of a former tennis champ. He grew up rich. Very, very few are in the position he is in. Most people should declare for the draft because they need the money. He doesn't. With that being said, I still think he's a retard.

I beg to differ with you. Joakim will be a better player to enter the NBA because he continues to show a "fiery" desire to win and sparks his teammates to victory many, many times. If you remember back when Okefor and Gordon who played for UCONN (2004 National Champions) stayed until they graduated and the accolades they received as a result.'

Because of their desire to be the best they could be (loike Joakim is doing), they were voted #1 and #2 Rookies of the Year in their first year in the NBA. Plus, THEY have a college degree to back up on when their NBA careers are over.

Did you also know that all five starters for the UCONN Huskies last year opted to go into the NBA. I hope it doesn't come back to "bite them in the butt" because they left early for the NBA. The thought of money early is something that can be argued both ways but to give up your degree for money in the long term is, in my opinion, not a wise decision.

yea, its a valid point, but, to me anyways, Noah didnt look "ready" for the NBA last year, or really even this year. His skill set isnt enough to allow him to flourish in the NBA. I dont think he'll be a great pro, he seems like a natural college player, but the NBA, i just dont think will be too good for him. Prolly for the best for him to have stayed in school, matured his game a bit, got an education, kept on being a king of the University of Florida, and wait until he is "ready" for the NBA. Its not really his fault these Freshmen phenoms came in and tore it up....how could he have known that was going to happen? It all turned out alright for Matt Leinart, it should for Noah too...prolly still a lottery pick....

Yes, he would have definitely been a lottery pick last year, and he often times does look retarded, but he obviously is not hurting for money and now he will probably get drafted by a team that is somewhat of a contender.

The most overrated and overhyped player since
Christian Laettner. Should have took the money last year because his games has many holes. He should not be drafted higher than 15 this year. But to answer your question to turn guaranteed millions away is retarded.

joakim noah is the most overated player in the history of basketball. all the real analysts will tell you that horford is much better and noah is all hype. he is a pushover inside. watch how he gets thrown around like a chump. he has a lot of heart, but he lacks the physical ability to be a dominant player at the next level. i wouldnt draft him thats for sure
